My 10-year-old niece Ava-
Prismacolor Pencils

Drawn from a photograph.

My practice drawing blonde hair, which was pretty hard because of all the color variations.

M....m..master??? hahaha, that's the first time i've been called that! please don't take offense to this, i really appreciate the compliment. you're also the first person to ask for a tutorial. i'm kind of busy lately, but i guess i might do one if there is more interest in it. as for tips... when you color with pencils, use many light layers of color to fill in an area, and use incredibly thin/light lines to do it, then blend it with your fingers to blur them together to achieve a smooth look. also, use many different colors on top of one another (mainly pinks, yellows, and browns for skin). have patience (just space out a bit while you listen to music and layer the colors) and it will turn out well. and don't forget that i'm still learning too! it's kind of a life-long endeavor. anyway, good luck with your practice, and thanks for the interest! X)

Geez, every time I see that this drawing only has 5 favs and 7 comments, I just shake my head. That might seem a bit shallow, but in all honestly, this piece of artwork is deserving of much more exposure. The hair, the skin, the hand, and the eyes down to the iris- it's all perfection.
